As a rule, this bulletin is edited collectively. The various articles written and signed individually must also be considered of interest to all of our comrades, and as particular points of their common research. We are opposed to the survival of such forms as the literary review or art journal.
Internationale situationniste #2
Any ‘core of five or so’ people—some of them with jobs, some of them selling paintings, like Asger Jorn—can produce a wonderful review like Internationale situationniste. There is no mystery. A review with no office, no staff—where all the work, typing, lay-out, proofreading, is made by the unpaid collaborators, and which appears at intervals from six months to one year, is not that expensive. And if the ‘core of five’ involved do not spend the little money that they have on other things, like the ones on which some other people put their dreams, nice clothes, cars, sunny holidays, hi-fi chains… if they joyfully accept to be, most of the time, rather broke, there is no problem. So if any group of five to ten people do not produce a review like Internationale situationniste, it is not the funds which are lacking; it must be something else.
